Autodesk BIM 360 Design, a key component of the Autodesk Construction Cloud, continues to evolve with new features and services that enhance collaboration and project management. Recently, the platform introduced a Europe-based data center for primary storage of project data, offering users greater flexibility in managing their information. Additionally, BIM 360 Design now integrates with Collaboration for Plant 3D, expanding its capabilities for plant design and engineering teams.
Used across more than 150 countries and supporting around 40,000 projects, BIM 360 Design enables real-time collaboration among architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) professionals—whether they're working within their own company or across multiple organizations and disciplines. The expansion into Europe reflects the growing demand for localized data storage and improved performance for users in the region.

Indeed, the number of BIM 360 Design subscribers in Europe has nearly doubled since the start of Q1FY20, and global project creation rates have surged by approximately 350% since the shift to remote work in mid-February. As part of Autodesk’s response to the challenges posed by the pandemic, BIM 360 Design for Revit was made available for free until May 31, 2020 through the Extended Access Program.
