**1. Pizza Planet Truck – Pixar Films**
The Pizza Planet Truck, a recurring character in nearly every Pixar film (except *The Incredibles*), looks eerily like a Toyota Hilux. The "YO" on its tailgate and its overall design make it hard not to assume it’s a real Toyota.
We first see it in *Toy Story*, where Woody and Buzz hitch a ride to Pizza Planet. It appears in *A Bug's Life*, *Finding Nemo*, *Ratatouille*, and even *Wall-E*. Some fans believe all Pixar films take place in the same universe because of this recurring vehicle.
Interestingly, according to a manual, the truck is actually a fictional 1978 Gyoza Mark VII Lite Hauler. This might have been due to budget constraints in *Toy Story*, but the resemblance to a Toyota is undeniable. So, we’re counting it anyway.
**2. Toyota SR5 Xtra Cab Pickup – *Back to the Future***
While the DeLorean steals the spotlight, the Toyota SR5 Xtra Cab Pickup in *Back to the Future* was arguably the cooler ride. Marty’s exclamation, “Check out that 4x4! That is hot!†sums it up perfectly.
This modified SR5 was equipped with TRD wheels, tubular bumpers, a light bar, and KC HiLites. One of the trucks was given away in a contest and later totaled, while the second became a local legend. After being stolen and used for drug running, it was eventually restored and returned to its original glory.
**3. Toyota Supra Mk IV – *The Fast and the Furious* Franchise**
The *Fast and the Furious* franchise has made over a billion dollars, and one of its most iconic vehicles is Brian O’Conner’s Toyota Supra Mk IV. Used in four of the seven films, it was heavily modified with a 2JZE engine, full roll cage, and a massive rear wing.
One of the 58 Supras used in the movies sold for $185,000, which seems like a steal given its specs. From performance parts to custom body kits, this car was built for speed and style.
**4. Toyota 2000GT – *You Only Live Twice***
No list of iconic movie cars would be complete without a James Bond classic. In *You Only Live Twice*, Sean Connery drives a rare 1966 Toyota 2000GT Convertible, one of only two ever made.
These cars were never sold to the public, making them extremely valuable. One was restored and displayed at the Toyota Museum, while the other was supposedly scrapped. With prices reaching over a million dollars at auction, it’s clear these are some of the most sought-after Japanese cars ever built.
