Autodesk University (AU) highlights how buildings, products, and more are being designed, manufactured, and used in innovative new ways. This year’s event will showcase a range of new and enhanced technologies that empower customers to create anything they can imagine. Autodesk is also unveiling a streamlined portfolio of cloud-based platforms aimed at simplifying workflows for designers, engineers, and digital artists across industries. “We’re fully committed to the cloud,†said Carl Bass, CEO of Autodesk. “Access to unlimited computing power and seamless collaboration is completely transforming how design and engineering work today.†In their keynote speeches, Bass and CTO Jeff Kowalski shared an inspiring vision of the future where humans and computers work together to achieve groundbreaking results. The event featured guest speakers like Anna Nixon, a high school student from Oregon competing in the First Robotics Competition, and Christian Benimana, Rwanda’s first trained architect and director at MASS Design Group, who exemplify this evolving future. Throughout the conference, attendees witnessed how professionals around the world are leveraging cutting-edge tools such as generative design, augmented reality, virtual reality, robotics, and additive manufacturing to push boundaries and redefine what’s possible. Tomorrow, Senior Vice President of Products Amar Hanspal will dive deeper into Autodesk’s product roadmap, including new features coming to Fusion 360 and BIM 360. Details will be shared on Autodesk’s In The Fold blog. He will also highlight Forge, Autodesk’s developer platform that enables the creation of apps and services to shape the built environment.
