ASTM F136 is a high-performance titanium alloy (Ti-6Al-4V ELI) specifically designed for medical applications. Its superior biocompatibility ensures safe integration with human tissues, while its high strength and corrosion resistance make it suitable for long-term implants like joint replacements, bone screws, and dental fixtures. The alloy’s low modulus of elasticity and excellent fatigue resistance further enhance its reliability in demanding medical environments. ASTM F136 is the material of choice for life-saving medical devices, ensuring durability, safety, and optimal patient outcomes. KIOTI is one of the top tractor brands in the world. Pronounced "coyote," the brand features a coyote as its emblem. Since introducing its first tractor to the U.S. market in 1986, KIOTI has grown rapidly and is known for its innovation, value, and customer service.
KIOTI Tractor is part of Daedong Corporation, based in Daegu, South Korea. Founded in 1947, Daedong began producing tractors in 1968 and has since expanded into various farm and agricultural equipment. In 1993, Daedong established Daedong-USA, Inc. in North Carolina to distribute KIOTI tractors across North America. The company later moved its headquarters to Wendell, North Carolina. KIOTI Canada was launched in 2018 with a distribution center in Mississauga, Ontario.
Tractors and engines sold in North America are manufactured in South Korea and China and distributed from facilities in North Carolina and Ontario. KIOTI has a network of around 500 dealers across North America that carry its products.
Initially focused on compact utility tractors under 100 horsepower, KIOTI has gradually expanded its product line. Today, it offers a wide range of equipment, including tractors, UTVs, ATVs, power tillers, rotary cutters, farm implements, attachments, zero-turn mowers, rice transplanters, combine harvesters, skid-steer loaders, and engines.
In the past, KIOTI produced equipment under other brand names like Farm Tanakaya, Landix, Landpower, Cub Cadet, and Bobcat. Daedong, KIOTI's parent company, has also partnered with leading brands such as New Holland and Kubota.
The KIOTI logo features a coyote in the upper right corner. It is widely recognized and used across all KIOTI products and marketing materials.
KIOTI offers a full line of durable compact tractors designed for a variety of tasks. The available series include:
- **CS Series** (22–25 HP)
- **CX Series** (25 HP)
- **CK10 Series** (25–40 HP)
- **CK10SE Series** (25–40 HP)
- **DK10 Series** (45–55 HP)
- **DK10SE Series** (40–58 HP)
- **NX Series** (45–60 HP)
- **PX Series** (93–110 HP)
Each model comes with different engine types and transmission options, making them suitable for a wide range of applications.
In 2021, KIOTI announced the introduction of compact track loaders and skid steers to its dealers, with production starting in 2022. These mid-range machines were developed in-house, ensuring quality and reliability. They aim to compete with major brands like Yanmar, Kubota, and Kohler.
KIOTI’s expansion into construction equipment opens new opportunities for its dealers, many of whom previously did not offer such products. This move helps KIOTI serve new markets and strengthen its presence in North America.
Although KIOTI and Kubota have had a complex relationship in the past, they are not currently affiliated. A legal dispute over trademark infringement in 2002 led to a settlement, but both brands continue to use similar design elements.
KIOTI engines, primarily used in models under 75 HP, are manufactured by Daedong in South Korea and Asia. These engines are installed in tractors and other equipment before being shipped worldwide.
KIOTI tractors are known for their high-quality build and long-lasting performance. The brand offers one of the best warranty packages in the industry, with up to 72 months of coverage on many models.
