This is from John Tulipano: On the night of November 3rd, 2015, around 02:45 AM, Winfield Fire Department was called to a garage fire at the intersection of Evans and Harrison. The first arriving units found a detached garage fully engulfed, with flames spreading into two split-level frame homes, each measuring 25x50 feet. A box alarm was immediately dispatched to bring in more firefighters, and it took roughly 30 minutes to bring the fire under control using four handlines. The crews worked quickly to prevent the fire from spreading further into the main structures.
