Early Tuesday morning (9/13/16), the Wheeling Fire Department responded to a report of a small fire at a townhouse located on Thornhill Lane. Upon arrival, firefighters discovered flames licking the exterior of the building near the rear deck of a second-floor unit. Swift action was taken, with one hose line deployed to effectively contain the damage to a localized area.
