This is from Josh Boyajian: Chicago Fire Department responded to a Still and Box Alarm at 1906 N. Kostner on Monday night. The fire was in a two-story frame building with heavy fire conditions on the second floor and in the attic. Due to the dangerous situation, crews were evacuated from the structure and then went defensive. Four handlines were deployed, and Tower 14 was positioned on the A side. It took me a while to get there, but I managed to capture a few photos. I also attached a new decal that was recently applied to Engine 91. Here are some shots from the scene. The first image shows Engine 68 arriving on the scene. The second one is of Engine 76, and the third is of the burned-out house. There's also a close-up of the new decal on Engine 91, and finally, a photo of the Chicago FD communications van. These images give a good sense of what the incident looked like from the ground.
